Look for Santorum wins in Minnesota and Missouri

Rick Santorum should win easily tomorrow in Missouri as Newt Gingrich will not be on the ballot and the average GOP primary voter in the Show Me State is very conservative, especially in social issues. While winning Missouri by 10% he should eke out a win in Minnesota as well by probably less than 5%. I don't think it makes much difference; in the end as Mitt Romney will start to rack up wins in more moderate states coming up in the primary schedule. Turnout was low in Florida and Nevada, two states crucial to GOP hopes in November, an obvious result of the rank and file's dissatisfaction with the current crop of candidates. If Romney wins the nomination, he's going to have to do something to fire up the GOP base not only for himself but for Republican candidates farther down the ballot.

Respectfully,

The Snitch
